Choza Taqueria

Choza Taqueria

Inside Gotham West Market, there are a few places to choose from but it wouldn't be NY if there were not some type of mexican food to eat. Gone for the standard veggie burrito in a bowl. It was fast, staff friendly. The venue is clean, interesting, and has a lot of choice on the menu. Read more...

Blue Bottle Coffee

Blue Bottle Coffee

Part of Gotham West Market, this up market coffee stop is for perfectionists seeking the perfect roast. While the market is a little out the way from central in a more residential urban feeling area, the roast here is strong and concentrated. Read more...

Clarke's Standard

Clarke's Standard

Comes across as a 'posh McDonalds' but it's actually far better. Staff were all really friendly, food was tasty. They had a bunch of choice and then a single, albeit nice, choice for veggies. Read more...

Dostoros

Dostoros

Inside the winter garden food court, sticking to the popular option of burritos. Staff were friendly here, veggie option lacking as per burrito standard now days; but you can get a bit of everything rolled into one. Read more...

Carve Cafe

Carve Cafe

Lunch and coffee stop. They have oreo cheesecake, enough said. They also have other stuff like different panini options and cakes, drinks. Read more...

Bareburger

Bareburger

The most delicious burger I ever had, partly because you can build your own and they have a whole bunch of ingredients to pick from - so a great place for veggies. I like lots of flavour so pick a bunch of stuff to go inside my veggie burger which does make the price add up. But it was worth it. The drinks are also jumbo sized. Read more...

Ambrose hall

Ambrose hall

Friendly bunch of locals to be found here. Place is smart and tidy, nice neighbourhood, friendly staff, large beer selection. Can't go wrong. Didn't get to try the food on this occasion but will be back. Read more...

Bocca Restaurant

Bocca Restaurant

Easy and convenient. A mini food court that can make a bunch of stuff to order. It's one of those places with mini food kiosks in side that sells different menus. I tried the italian pasta once since it has the most scope for customisation. Read more...

Somerset House Ice Rink

Somerset House Ice Rink

One of Londons best rinks. What's special about this one is the colored lighting that adds atmosphere, the decent music system, and the lighting generally around somerset house. The bar lounge is also pretty decent. There is a small isolated area at back for beginners or children. As well as a viewing area where people can walk into the ice area. The ice itself is well maintained, clean, no puddles, smooth. Compared to Canary Wharf ice rink, the ice is much smoother (Canary Wharf often gets full of leaves or puddles), however unlike Canary Wharf, you are not allowed to bring a camera onto the ice which is a bit of a silly rule nowdays. You can take pictures from the front however off ice. My biggest tip is to go when it's not busy. Being on one of Londons busiest streets, it has a lot of visitors. One of the first or last sessions is best if you want some space. Read more...

Biju Bubble Tea Room

Biju Bubble Tea Room

So refreshing. This tea room makes a fun and lively addition to Soho. Inside is kitted out with cork walls that double as table and chairs so it's quite interesting, good sound system, and the staff are all really friendly. They are happy to explain to you how it all works if you're new to bubble tea and can make whatever tea combinations you would like, even if they're off menu. My recommendation is the iced lychee tea with pineapple jelly. They have quite a wide range of fruit flavored nectar shots I've seen compared to other tea rooms. The tapioca balls are caramel flavored, I just prefer the fruit. The tea is brewed fresh to order rather than done in batches. Read more...
