Canary Wharf Tube Station

Canary Wharf Tube Station

One of the most unique and memorable tube stations - one of those that people visiting London will remember. It's always worth travelling to Canary Wharf even if you're here for leisure and not for business. It's quiet at weekends. This is one of the only tube stations where people self-queue at each door for the train, I find people here are much more polite and organised than other stations where they push through rather than let you off first. Monument to the Great Fire of London

Monument to the Great Fire of London

A bargain place to visit that offers spectacular unique views amongst the skyscrapers in the City of London. The stone spiral staircase you must climb to the top is unforgiving and never-ending. So be prepared. Once at the top, you get panoramic eye level views of all the famous landmarks in every direction. It's best to come around sunset to see all the office buildings glow with their lights. Read more...

Queen Elizabeth Hall

Queen Elizabeth Hall

Really interesting and unique structure itself, as well as some really good shows to see which are always reasonably price. The cafes inside are also have good prices and high quality so you can get some snacks at half time. The complex is worth exploring even if you aren't seeing a show. Read more...
